The client is a Swedish-based IT company selling e-commerce solutions to retailers.

Objective of PHP Ecommerce Application

The primary object was to build a highly customizable e-commerce solution that can be used in any country, with any currency, any freight rate, at any tax rate and for any type of product. The application was to be easily installed (as the software is being resold by the client) and to be highly scalable depending on the requirements of the client's customers.
