The front page of this customized classified ads website has got an AJAX driven search box. After you have selected a category and subcategory, a number of attributes will appear. Under vehicles->cars the admin might have assign attributes such as gearbox, mileage, color and so on.

Attributes can be highly customized: the admin can set an attribute to have two select boxes (one min and one max) or just one. He can also make the attribute searchable through a normal textbox.
