Project Planning

Detailed Requirements Study

We believe that the project planning phase is one of the keys to delivering a web application that lives up to your expectations. Before having started with the web application development you will have received a detailed proposal and case studies/portfolio of our experience working with similar applications, so that you know what to expect from us.

Once the project is started we put time and effort into studying your requirements in detail. Our team leaders and PHP developers will study the specification and get back to you with their questions. At the same time work will start on a detailed prototype. This will present our view of how the end product should look. At this stage you can and should provide feedback and requests for changes so that no time will be lost working on faulty requirements.

Once the prototype is completed and approved the PHP programming will commence. The prototype already developed will speed up the coding as it will have given our web developers a very clear view of your requirements.

Prototyping

Prototyping is the rapid development of working models, or prototypes, of the envisioned software application that you require. Prototyping makes development faster and easier especially for projects where end user requirements are hard to define.

LiteBreeze uses prototyping to make clients feel confident that they will get what they are looking for. We use an interactive and iterative process to make sure that everyone is on the same page. Communicating requirements is simple when using prototyping.

Prototyping enlarges the role of project stakeholders as it opens up the application development process. It allows for quicker development and prevents invalidated requirements to slip through into the specification.

At LiteBreeze we refine the prototype until it is acceptable to you. A prototype of a business application may consist of data entry forms, management reports, pages listing customers, employees and suppliers, budget reports and so on. In a social networking, classified ads, ecommerce or online marketplace website it may consist of the pages representing processes such as sign up, buy, submit bid, view contacts, admin panel functionality and other core functionality which can be tricky to explain only in writing.
